I mostly added this so that I can include the drone footage Jackson and Spencer took while we spent the night on our way up to Emerald Bay (I’ll upload asap when I have a chance).
We had a lovely sail up and caught two huge jacks which we had for dinner at Water Cay. We anchored at a spot where fisherman anchor, so we knew there would be sharks. As soon as we anchored, Spencer came up to the bow and asked, “See any sharks?” and right on cue, a big bull shark swam up to the boat, as if to welcome us and ask for dinner. Once he realized we had nothing to offer him, he left.
Tommy and I got up around 2:30am, so that we could sail to the shallow Hog Cay Cut on the south end of Great Exuma and get to the cut at high tide. It worked out perfectly but was tiring!
