Anchorage Hopping Around Georgetown

During our short stay around Georgetown, we moved a lot:

1. Honeymoon Beach – on Stocking Island near the resort where the Vasels stayed. Great spot except there is something dead there that Morris rolled in on two different occasions. 🤢

2. Peace & Plenty – also on Stocking Island. Beautiful, but rolly when we were there for a night.

3. Flip Flop Beach – Our family’s Stocking Island favorite, away from the crowds

4. Goat Cay – nicely secluded, with plenty of protection from the winds.

5. Kidd’s Cove – on Great Exuma, right at the entrance to Georgetown and convenient to the dinghy dock and provisioning, but BUSY and wavy.

6. Crab Cay – the best place to tuck in to get out of the waves. We love it here. We downloaded the 3rd Harry Potter movie (just finished reading the 3rd book as a family) and had a fun movie + ice cream night on our last night here.

  1. It sounds like you can write a travel guide about these little islands and coves. Ice cream and movies- just like home! It all sounds good.

Island hopping seems to be the name of the game for you folks. We never knew there were so many down there. You’ve opened a whole new world for us readers. Thank you. 😊
